I would stay away from new campy veloce and centaur. The shifting just feels cheap. I don't have any experience with the new athena however.

Sram works fine, but the doubletap seems to be a love it or hate it deal. I personally don't care for it, but maybe that's just because I have shimano's sti burned into the back of my brain.

I know you find the 11 speed shimano cranksets unattractive,but boy does that 11 speed group work well! I think 11-spd 105 is the best bang for the buck on the market right now. The only downside is that you are limited to 11 spd compatible wheels. Mavic freehub bodies have been compatible for quite some time now, but other companies didn't make the change until more recently.

I also think that Dura Ace 7700 would look pretty sharp on there
