Matchbox, the toy car company, made one in the 80s. They even sponsored the Swiss national team in 1987, I know because I was n a race they attended in Milwaukee in 1987.
They looked similar to the Kirk pic. May be the same frame.
Edited to add that it may be that Kirk made the frames for a team sponsored by Matchbox, hence the confusion. Anyway, the Swiss national team was sponsored by them and most of them finished ahead of me.
