...I see e-bikes in the bike lanes here regularly, and even out on the MUP, where they are prohibited. They are universally owned and ridden here by guys with little experience on a bike, even less road savvy, and they regularly do insanely dangerous maneuvers when I see them. That's my experience with them.

...yeah, kinda. The guy with a cane on the back of his e-bike, who maneuvered around and passed me accelerating from about 20mph was pretty old though.
