I have never seen or heard of Rose before. They look pretty nice based on what I saw on their web site. Perhaps they have a bigger presence in Europe.
Personally, I think that there are a lot of under appreciated or under sold brands in my part of the country. Ridley, Fuji, Cube, Storkk, Colnago, Wilier, Scott, De Rosa, Canyon, BMC, Litespeed, and Boardman to name a few. I wish that we had more of these on the road to make things more interesting. Trek, Giant, Cannondale and Specialized get boring after awhile. I am not saying that they are not good bikes, as they are. I just like to see some different things out there once in awhile. I know that there are other brands out there but these are the ones that catch my attention the most for some reason.
Rose was quoted has having 1 of the best Aluminum frames. I recall seeing somewhere a carbon bike with Ultegra di2 for just under $3,000USD which is not bad price.
I live in the US and find that many of the brands you mentioned are not under appreciated just difficult to find. Closest BMC dealer to me is 60 miles away (that i know of), Fuji only sold by Performance Bicycle (shameful to buy there by many local rider standards), Ridley not found around here, Colnago (LBS never has any in stock) etc. I do agree with the bigger brands (Trek, Giant, Cannondale and Specialized) they are found everywhere all the time, i believe its due to the many entry level riders hitting the market for a low cost solution which those brands and provide. I am personally wanting a Colnago with SRAM Force or Canyon (but hard to get due to the obvious shipping issues).
