I used Ribble just a short while ago without issue. Was shipped via Royal Mail and handed off to Canada Post. No fees or whatnot (and, yes, the paperwork was correct with the proper value of shipment)

My experience ordering anything online from outside of Canada is for the shipper to use their standard domestic carrier - the worse I've had for fees is having to pay taxes (was a larger $$) plus a $5 processing fee. It might take longer but the costs are far lower.

The main thing is to keep it away from UPS. They'll hit you with significant brokerage fees that can sometimes exceed the costs of goods shipped.
