1975. Racing as a 2nd year jr. Got pneumonia in the fall and was given prednisone to compete. Bad mistake. Got much worse and it reignited my childhood athsma. Tried for another season but wasn't even able to do 85%.
I'm faster now than I was this spring. Not fast, but faster.
