I've been bike commuting to my present job for about 15 years now, I think, with my mileage gradually climbing from maybe 2500 miles at the beginning, to over 5000 miles so far this year. So I'm really guessing here, but it would be about 60,000 miles including some touring, some weekend riding, and a lot of commuting.
No major mishaps. No accidents involving cars. No broken bones. No hospital visits. A few minor self-inflicted mishaps, such as sticks getting into the front wheel, resulting in a ruined fender and torn pants.
