Hey guys, thanks for all the replies. I felt really silly the next day after I rode to work and. Was trying to figure out the sound...i never noticed the screws on the inside of the fork had small washers on them that would vibrate ever so slightly under the right conditions. So one issue down.

As far as the chain rubbing on the derailleur, I had the bike shop look at it and adjust it, however it now makes a little bit more noise in some of the larger gears on the cassette. Maybe it's something totally normal, I just have/had absolutely no reference for what was normal or abnormal. It does seem better for the majority of the gears I am in most of the time. And the fact that the other bike with SRAM has been quieter.

Anyway, thanks a lot! I'm sure I'll be snooping around a bit as I get ore involved in cycling.
