You might be better off with just a cover over it. I have bought several of these, I never trust water proof seat covers to be water proof so instead when it rains I put plastic bags over the saddle and put a lycra cover over that plastic bag to hold it in place.

Since my usage is short term, I have no clue how long these would last.
