It is all erg and to some degree winning in a boat with a team - OR single skull winning, but most juniors do not single skull.

Not sure why I mixed them up in the earlier post, but I knew you said that guy was measuring blood lactate concentration, and for some reason (brain fart!) i forgot Moxy, et. al. are measuring SmO2. Especially dumb as I've played with Moxy a bit.

Again, I don't know why I had my head stuck in non-invasive blood lactate measurements (which I've heard discussed) w/r/t those devices, and I clearly confused that with what you mentioned about that one coach's conversation with blood lactate measurements during a vo2max rowing test.
