NOT meaning to be a rule stickler or anything! Actually.... I often think of the meaning of rule 12 as does the poster. I am currently on double secret probation on the home front... as I have been 2 over my previously negotiated bicycle limit for months. Which I sometime refer to as N+2... but should be defined as S-1. However.... if I am able to maintain this number of bicycles through the winter months.... I may actually reset to N again (somehow it just works that way).

Ether way... even if I find good homes elsewhere for my two extra bikes... I will still have my minimum required, three bicycles.

Velominati The Rules:

Rule #12: The correct number of bikes to own is n+1
While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.
