I used the pitstop and it got most punctures but had to call the wife a few times for a ride because the cut was too big. Sucks when you have a box full of tires that you can't use because the tubes are trashed, they you have to spend money to send them off and get new tubes put in. I enjoyed tubulars, they are awesome, but when it comes to ease of use and having something that is damn near just as good, I will take the clinchers. I don't regret it at all.
and I would never use tape, have seen too many people roll tires with tape. I had a glue ritual that was perfect and never had an tire come off.

If you use Tufo gluing tape and carry Pit Stop sealant/inflator, you don't have to worry about those things with tubulars either. I ride both, but jus' sayin' how impressed I am with how easy tubulars can be these days.
