finally got a deal on a cheap one at a flea market. actually two. i was just gonna get the ladies model for an extra guest bike, but went ahead and got the set, because (besides being cheap) i noticed how much rust was on both. i realised as light as they seem, they have a lot of steel components and could be even lighter. the bars, seat post, crank arms and sprocket, and even the front forks are all steel.

so i'm gonna play poor mans weight weenie and replace some stuff with home stash pieces and whatever i can get cheap from the local co-op. i'll post some weights along the way once i start.
