The wheels are setup tubeless. I had originally intended to go tubed, as it was a familiar technology to start with, but the mechanic at my LBS convinced me otherwise. I made sure to get tubeless compatable rims in case I wanted to try it.

The radio tower I speak of is in a short little range called the San Marcos Mountains. There's not really a whole lot to it, which is why I was so surprised to find such a well made trail.
