Have you looked at the Surly Straggler 650B? It's probably not as light as she'd like. It's got mostly Apex components, which some people would argue is as good as 105. Or you could buy the frame and build it up with 105 and lighter wheels. The big selleing point is that it comes in a 38cm size with 70.4cm standover.
