I got new powertap g3 hubs abd theyre very quiet. Not like the youtube videos ive seen on them. Not sure if lbs put more grease in them while installing. I heard to use less grease or thinner lube to make hub louder. Is it ok to use chain lube on the freehub? Please see video in the tag for reference on how loud i thought it would be. If you think the hub is malfunctioning because it doesn't make the sound you expect, don't worry as long as the hub functions properly. Also don't do anything to it without reading and following the manufacturer's instructions.
