Looking to do some easier MB stuff nothing crazy. The frame looks quality says made in USA
The rims are not your limiting factor -- they can fit any width of tire that your frame and fork can clear.

In order to figure out your frame and fork clearance, the best method is to get some calipers and measure. I use some plastic calipers I found at Harbor Freight for <$5. Most MTBs will clear a 2.1" tire, many will fit a 2.35" tire, and some will fit a 2.5" tire. Some bikes have different clearance for the fork and the frame.

Is this a kids' bike? It should have 26" wheels, not 20" wheels.
