I have ridden it. Even after many days without rain it is very muddy with slowly rotting railroad ties protruding from the soil around the edges (where you have to ride to avoid the puddles). I was on my touring bike running 32s and it was a mess by the end.

It looks like all parties are interested in some sort of resurfacing, whether asphalt, loose gravel, or a combination of both. Anything would be better than what is there now.
