I'm fairly certain most still do, but many of the major trucking companies have policies against doing it or acknowledging it for liability reasons. I won't even honk the air horn for kids pumping their arms anymore because it came back and bit me once.
When on a long interstate drive, I also like to look for the Omnitracs antennas... did some work on that project and love to see it out there on the road.
