Freehub body replacement

The last time I had my Ultegra 6700 cassette off of my Vuelta Corsa Lite wheelset for service, it looked like the cog splines were starting to dig into the freehub body just a bit (1,570g total wheelset weight so the FH body must be aluminum). If the problem gets worse, can I replace just the freehub body with something that will resist that problem better, something with a steel shell maybe?

The Corsa Lites have an 11-sp compatible freehub body. I would like to maintain that compatibility should I ever decide to upgrade to 11-speed. I read that the Ultegra FH-6800 uses larger axles, so that probably wouldn't work with the current hub. What about the 105 FH-5800 freehub? Could that work with the existing wheelset and hubs? Or any other suggestion of a freehub body that wouldn't be susceptible to the cogs digging into the splines?
