there is no valve for air input. It's not a pricey fork, so I'm sure it's not a pneumatically damped fork. That mention of air in both the features section for the comp on the specialized website, and the suntour description on their website got some folks a little excited.
Personally I didn't know there were such things as air forks untill I saw it mentioned. I don't take my bike on rough trails, so they do all I need them to do.
