I think you may be talking about the "bike to work scheme".

This gives a tax relief on wages and bike vat. typically about 40%. It would not get a discount as they need to be bought from cycle dealers participating in the scheme. So it wouldn't apply to crowd funding. The Base model looks good value in the humming bird. It reminds me of the birdie pricing. Improvements to the basic model seem poor value. Basic model is reasonable price.
