It will be interesting to see whether Black Friday prices are lower. I would certainly go back for a refund of the difference if that were the case.
We bought one of the Samsung UHD 4K 3D curved ones last fall and it's probably the best tv I've ever seen. Samsung does a great job with their tvs. Our old one was also a samsung...9 year old 1080p DLP. It still does a great job, but moving into a smaller house meant we didn't have room for a giant screen that couldn't be mounted to a wall.

Yes, you can view it from the side, which is nice in a tight living room. I think the curve also helps immerse you into the television, especially for 3d anyway.
