I'm in the same boat, although you've got the edge on me. If the weather cooperates, I should have no trouble topping 5,000 miles commuting on the year ... but that's a pretty big if. We have had so much rain lately that it's really cut into my cycling. We are now 14" above normal in rainfall for the year, and much of that has happened over the past three months. I also will miss an entire week of commuting in December due to holidays and vacation time.
