You just supported my recent belief that Performance stinks. I have supported Performance bicycle since I was about 12 years of age. I joined the Performance club ($20 bucks) when purchasing a trainer about a year ago. I was told that I would be basically getting it for free because the rebate would be worth the same $20 as I was paying to join. I never got my $20 worth of coupons for joining. Was told by corporate that I was not eligible for getting this rebate because I used gift certificates & there was nothing I could do about it. Funny how this was never mentioned to me while I was being sold on it. Because of the employee who clearly just wanted to sell me the membership and the poor attitude of the corporate employee they burned a lifetime shopper. I told her this as well. As you can guess she could not have cared less. Seems like bad business to me. I have instructed all family members to please never spend another dime there. Please do send this thread to corporate!
