Long ago I delivered for a multi-restaurant company. Never did I take more than one order. When I switched to delivering pizzas I did that one time late at night and was told to never do it again.

Nobody can predict when two families in the same neighborhood will order at the same time from the same place. If they did and the orders were five minutes apart I doubt the boss would want the same driver to take both orders because the second order would loose heat; and in the case of a pizza it would lose texture.
