Have you completed any 100 mile mtb races or rides at high elevation ? I rode about 70 miles of the course one time in July and it was hard. I could be wrong but I think you get automatic entry into the 100 if you complete the 50 mile version. Ever since Lance did the race it fills up now but back prior to Lance I think they would get about 500 rides max in the 100 race.
