Thanks to you all, that is encouraging. I found nothing in Lonely Planet to help with island hopping, however I did find the croatianferries.com website helpful. At a glance there seems to be mostly mainland and back ferries, however digging a little deeper I was able to find a couple of "foot ferries" (no cars) to complete the chain of island hopping I wanted to connect. It looks like accommodations will be more of a challenge on a couple of those islands that cater to the glitzier crowd. As an aside, the National Cycling Charity looks very interesting. I will look more into it. Thanks.
