I always imagine it would be crit, CX, and even road racers who are more accustomed to events where people clean up after them and all that matters is riding bike fast. They get out into the sticks and don't even know how to take care of things out there.
i could easily see that point of view too, buncha guys looking for the next challenge and not caring about consequences
