Giro already told me to replace it and gave me a 30% off code for the replacement.

I've since learned that if there's any impact, other than dropping it, it should be replaced. I rather be safe than sorry.

Good you replaced the helmet. And to those who opt not to wear helmets, my last crash was on my mountain bike turned "beach cruiser" some few years ago on a July 04 slow cruise on a beach trail, when a drunk teenager barreled out of her line and smashed head on into me. I was okay, but my stiff Cannondale Pepperoni fork was trashed. The real scary thing was I don't remember hitting my head, but later while examining my helmet, there was a really big dent in the foam just over my right temple. So, please consider wearing a helmet each time you get on a bike, as like someone said, a new helmet beats getting crayons for Christmas.
