Bikes: Lots

[QUOTE=Lazyass;18360849]My research is from riding my 1992 Paramount Series 5 with the original 105 7 speed group and 126mm dropouts with 130mm Ultegra 6600 hubs for about the last 10 years now. All you have to do is use about .1 pound of pressure to spread the dropouts 2mm each to put the wheel in. The only thing the OP needs is a spacer to run his 7 speed cassette. If his wheels are 11 speed he will also need the one for a 10-11 speed conversion.

And this is the same model bike as the OP's with a modern wheelset. Yes. It fits.

The same bike?? Yours is steel. His is aluminum. Even despite that, not all rear triangles can be spread as easily as yours apparently can. I did that with my Stevenson for years, but it was NOT easy, and I finally just had the stays cold set to fit. The concerns expressed about the wheel fitting can't just be dismissed as you have done.
