I emailed ebay about a 54cm Onix listed where someone had stolen the pictures from a posting which resulted in s successful sale about a week earlier and made a new listing. I just happened to remember that I had seen the pictures before and reasoned that the second auction was not on the up and up.

When you notice something like this, it's good to report those items to eBay. As someone said before, auctions that so closely resemble real auctions are bound work sooner or later. I'm not sure how I would know that the auction was a fake, except that the person lists that the bike is out of the country, which is suspicious.
