One of the members posted a thread about his wife finally coming around to the C&V lifestyle ---
This is not one of those threads -- this is my "What the wife don't know won't hurt her thread "
These are the ones in my "bike room" -- they get ridden somewhat frequently - no C&V stuff in here except the little blue BMX looking MTB
-- Dutiful watch dog is firmly in place making sure nothing goes missing (yeah right - she's a boxer mix and is scared of cats - LOL)
But resting just a scant 9 or 10 feet above (out of sight, out of mind) - is a wife's horror show
The pearl white funny bike frameset has a set of Campy Deltas hanging off of it forlornly -- Its on my short list to get done soon so i can display it in my office - the Aluminum GT is a Forrest Yelverton/Dave Tiemeyer collaboration from the custom shop circa 1993
The yellow totes have collections of old worn out parts and broken parts and likely stacks of old tattered and frayed lycra cycling clothes that are 2 sizes too small for me now
Sad little lineup of Cannondales , 2 Criteriums and a 2.8 series --- they're shabby looking due to a layer of dust on them but rest assured, all most of these bikes need is to blow the dust off with compressed air , inflate the tires and hit the cluster/chain with a bit of Tri Flow
Bunch of old track stuff to include the dusty little 3Rensho funny bike peeking out from behind the Ironman (The Ironman comes down tonight though - i want to ride it

and we have 55 degree temps for a few days
There is some later model stuff in there too , but the majority of these are mine from 25 years of trying to ride competitively . Most has seen battle in local and regional criteriums and circuit races with exception of Red Ironman, one of the Cannondales, and the Cliff Shrubb, those are somewhat recent aquisitions that i purchased just because i thought they were cool
Nothing too fancy, Just pure American style race bikes for the most part
So next time this guy brings up a thread of a garishly painted Colnago i narrowly missed on ebay, -- someone should show me this thread again so i can work on getting some of the old stock up and running again --
But i am also sure that my accumulation pales in comparison to a few of you guys' --
