I don't see any hint of Campy bashing, and that is coming from someone who has been riding Campagnolo equipped bikes for over 40 years. The remark that some Campy groupsets went over the top is fairly accurate, the asking price on their 50th anniversary grouppos was an example of this, they were basically obsolete before they were ever installed on a bike even though they were beautifully made, who wanted friction shifting when reliable index shifting had become the norm?
