Alaska Biking, new member

Hi
Got into biking Almost a year ago
Now have 5 bikes ( I have BAD - Bike Acquisition Disorder)
Learning to do some tweaking & general maintenance.
Having fun riding trails & roads & getting some exercise.

Bikes: An Older Hybrid Arcadia

2 29ers; Trek skye mtb, with studded tire on it now.
Torker Skookum mtb

Flatbar Kona Rove 2 x10 road & gravel bike
Just picked up a Flatbar Road bike : Sirrus Elite carbon disc for paved roads .

Goal is to get in good enough shape to ride the Hatcher Pass Epic, 90 round trip from
Palmer up & over & thru Hatcher pass to Willow & back on the Parks Hwy. 22 miles is gravel road.
Suggested Routes | Backcountry Bike & Ski

In August I made it from home to the top of Hatcher Pass (25 mi 1 way)

ran out of time to go down the other side to Willow & Back home.
But did manage that day to get in a metric Century ride, 62 miles.

Trying to ride here this winter to keep in some kind of shape.

Riding for fun & fitness & sight seeing.

Dave
