zipties are your friends. i gots a ziptie on the seatpost to
mark seatpost height. gotta remove the post for travel.

and didn't someone mention sticking the spokes in
the handlebars? why, you could even stuff them in
the steering tube under the topcap, push 'em through
a foam plug above the starnut.
