I wanted the Jandd Extreme, but given a short time frame, I picked up the Surly nice rack locally. It's definitely a bit heavier than the other options, but I'm happy with the purchase. It's super solid and has plenty of options for mounting, with a great huge platform up top.
You can weld-repair it in the field, too. I don't think I'd ever trust the blowtorch guy at an autobody shop to weld my steel frame back together, but I'd happily let them give my busted rack a shot!
