I know I will get yelled at for not having photos.....but I will ask anyways. Met a guy at a yard sale. I asked if he had any bikes. He had a Paramount stored is his garage. This bike clearly hasn't been used in years and years; old cables, deteriorated tires etc. So, he says he "might" be interested in selling. The frame has some obvious issues with the paint, but has a very nice, complete, original Dura Ace group set. The paint was rubbed off on the down tube from the cable rubbing the frame. The frame is far too big for me. So, my thought was buy it: keep the group set and sell the frame. I did some research on ebay. Predictably, the prices are all over the place. What would I get for a Paramount of this vintage with paint issues? If I could get the bike for say $400 or 500, sell the frame...and get a relatively inexpensive group set out of....just trying to figure out the numbers. The question is, what would the frame realistically be worth. Thanks.
