Sheldon Trick: Threaded Casette (Uniglide, Suntour) and Freewheel Cog Removal

Sheldon mentions a trick for removing the first threaded sprocket (cog) of a cassette from a Uniglide freehub. The trick does not require the use of chain whips. Does anyone know of a video showing the trick actually done or make one for that matter? There are mentions in previous threads of people who have figured it out, but no images or videos.

I have searched the forums and I have seen the video of the trick to remove a fixed gear. However, the method for a threaded sprocket involves making a figure eight with the chain behind the freehub and I just cannot figure out the actual arrangement.

In addition, would the same trick work to remove a threaded suntour cassette (powerflo) or the cogs on a freewheel? I think it would but I wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. thanks.
