We rode Casitas late afternoon, so plenty of light but it got dark on us going by the motorhomes/RV's along the beach. So yes, lots of riding in the dark but overall a fun day on the bike! No mechanicals with the slight exception of getting my Garmin 800 to accept the recharger power (didn't record a mile or so while I sorted that out) but eventually okay.
