I'm a dog lover, but have no tolerance for owners not in control of aggressive dogs. I give dogs the benefit of the doubt at first. However, if one bit me, I would not hesitate to use pepper spray. If the pepper spray didn't work, I wouldn't hesitate to really hurt the dog. If I were getting attacked, the legality of what I was doing wouldn't be my foremost concern.

Keep riding on that road and don't let the owner or dogs deter you.
