I did find the old 8 X 10 sepia toned portraits of my wife's grand parents that we've been looking for for as long as we've lived here. Fourteen years. Thought they disappeared into the ether. Turns out it was only the gaping maw of the dungeon stairs. She'll be psyched when she gets home late tonight from China and finds them matted and framed, on the wall.
Let's see, a college psych/bio text - in the recycle pile. Some other book, I don't recollect, also. But, hey, I have a ton of all bikey mags/newspapers, etc. Maybe I'll bring them to Jim's ride if anyone is interested. But, the most exciting item, which, if I'd remembered it, I'd have been looking everywhere for it, is a brand new (35ish year old) sauna heater. Still in the original box. I couldn't imagine what it was (It was wrapped in a plastic bag.) Crazy. How about an original FuzzBuster, with all it's original packaging, manual, etc. Getting back to bike stuff, not in photo, some nifty stands made by Dick Allen (Allen bike racks). Jam them into the ground, and then they will hold your bike. And a vinyl TI Raleigh gear bag. Which reminds me, but I'd better not put a photo of it up, people will no doubt swoon, and I wouldn't want to feel guilty because I caused people to swoon...
