Good post. Maybe along with pepper spray I should bring a few of my dog's Milkbones... if my pup would let me, that is.

I ride MTB with a guy who sometimes brings his small pitbull. Regardless of how many riders there are, his dog always stays in 2nd position right behind the first guy. It is really cool to see how the dog handles obstacles. Nothing enhances that feeling of freedom and carefree when you ride like seeing a happy dog running trails.
