I agree. I loved the old Cannonade touring bikes and was excited when they started making them again. After seeing the new offerings though, I am not interested. I can't imagine touring with a 50/34 and a 32t cassette.

Loved, it especially since I carried a lot of weight on my first tour thanks a lot of camera equipment. Bike and gear weighed 90 lbs. according to a truck stop scale.
