I dunno... looks like all the hardware on the thing could possibly be some sort of gold plating? Even the chain looks as if its been treated in some way. If it's really gold, that would do a lot to explain the hefty price tag... although it would seem to make it more of a display piece as opposed to something you would actually ride on the road. Although, if you're that rich, it might be a way to say, 'yea this cost $25k, and no I don't care if I mess it up.

My big concern is the way that the inner tube valve seems to be hindered by the wheel. Seems like it would be difficult to attach a pump to that. Is that how all carbon wheels are set up?
