Stor Mand - Ok man, I separated my left shoulder in 9/8/2002, requiring two surgeries. I just turned 38 last month. I weigh 200-210 (down from 280 last year at this time). We are just alike, except for our politics.

I'd been averaging 140 miles a week all year until two weeks ago when the weather turned wet and windy. I did a century last Saturday but haven't ridden a day since then. Not riding can be just as habit forming as riding I'm starting to see. My solution is to ride with my wife tomorrow, not the hammers that I ususally hang with. I get some saddle time, don't feel the pressure to compete, and I get to spend time with my best friend. Remember, riding is supposed to be fun, and it is.
