Stuart, you make me chuckle. Some of us really are a bunch of gearing nerds.
You know, during the last few years, because I have been doing so much commuting doing the same route over and over and over, sometimes twice a day, I find myself thinking of what gear Im in, what percentage jumps would be nicer blah blah blah,,,,gives me something to think of.

So thats why I am more detail orientated now than before for what teeth cogs I use more in the back and all that, but then I'm a sad boring old son of a gun to most people when I get talking about gearing--and what is fun with this place, I can go on and on about stuff and I dont have to see your faces and glazed eyes...

anyone watch Breaking Bad? Remember when the cop brother in law was injured, and goes onto an electricians web forum to find out details of the power usage of that factory wehre he suspected a drug lab was hidden? Its so true, there are forums for everything nowadays, guys talking details of whatever....

but hey, its still fun for me coming on here.
