What would be interesting is if the Mods had some balls and threw the people who were really trolling this thread off the site.

In my eyes, a troll is someone who enters other peoples threads to post disparaging, inflammatory or divisive remarks designed to provoke a reaction. From what I've seen of BTH, he pretty well behaves himself in other peoples threads. In his own threads, the same predictable people troll him precisely because they know they will provoke a certain response. Predictable because we know he has a mental illness and reacts the same way each time. Gee Whiz, he feels a little persecuted. Perhaps defensiveness is part of that and perhaps it's because in some ways, he actually is being persecuted because he creates posts not of some peoples liking. Why people get their kicks from baiting a mentally ill person I don't know but it's bullying regardless.

Alloy spoke nipples and titanium sporks aside, along with all the other stuff that really doesn't matter on a tour - I'd rather take the time to try and get along with a marginalized poster than chum it up with a sarcastic bully - both on the net and IRL. There are sheep, wolves and sheepdogs in this world and it's pretty easy to see what roles are being assumed by who here. If I'm wrong and he is pulling the wool over my eyes all I'm guilty of is having a little character. If he isn't, some others are guilty of having none. I know which I prefer.
