24" straight up = 25" on the seat tube. I measure all bikes by the seat tube length no matter of how the manufacturer measures it. For Schwinns 22" is a 23", a 24" is a 25", and so on. That straight up stuff is dumb anyway, my humble opinion that won't be changed.
I'm not sure what you mean by "straight up stuff" but Schwinn measured the Super Sport from the center of the crank to the very top of the seat mast. Here are some pics of a 24" Super Sport frame as measured:
This one below I used to own is a "23" inch(22" by factory measure), and it was on the small side.(The seat was lower than I'd ride it in the picture) The one in the CL ad is definitely larger, so is more than likely the next size up.,,,,BD
The one you used to own (as pictured above) was a 24" model, same as the yellow frame I show measured. The one in the CL ad appears to be 26", which you should be able to verify once you pick it up.
