Tip of the day, if its a DEAL, do not wait! My standard excuse is "I am going to be in your area this evening anyway". Of course, the only reason I am going to be in their area is to pick up their bike, but I leave that part of the story out. Standard answer I get is "well since you are going to be here, sure, stop on by".
I have had more than one deal go bad during the lag between "making the deal" and picking up the bike. Realize your competition (other buyers) can and WILL make up any kind of story possible to scoop you on the bike.
